« on: August 23, 2011, 09:58:39 pm »
Evening all..excuse my ignorance  :ashamed: but what exactly is mapping? I'm guessing it's some kind of performance enhancement..do I need it in my life?  :driver:

it changes the way the computer runs your car, making it more powerful.

You only need it if your human.

Have a search for remap theres a few companies.

your insurance will generally go up once mapped.

I agree, you need it if you are human.....................animal or vegetable!

As to insurance I switched to Adrian Flux from Privilege, primarily because Privilege would not insure me with the remap, but also because AF's quote was cheaper with ALL mods declared and there would be no increase if i went to stage 2.  :happy2:

Did you need to tell them how much power or who did the map or just the fact you had had one?
Standard: Rear parking sensors, Parrot Bluetooth
Retro fitted: MFSW buttons, RCD510, Boot pop, Black Monza II, Xenons, Audi jacking points, open fog light grills.
