Update,

Well it's certainly working - took .95 of a second out of my time at Curborough on Saturday posting a 30.18 on road tyres with the back stripped out. 5th place over all and fastest MKV currently on the C-GTI's historic table.

If I'd bothered with the R888s and putting the ARBs on hard, I may have been in the medals?!

To put that into some sort of comparison, I was less than a second behind a 460BHP (+NOS) stripped A3 quattro and some 200BHP 800kg MKI GTIs with LSDs and on sticky tyres. Fastest was a big turbo'd 16v MKII (VW Motorsport lightened shell) again with an LSD and stickys by just over a second.

To say I'm proud of that would be an understatement.

:ashamed: When I say proud, I mean of the car - certainly shows what the MKV chassis/engine is capable of - I'm just an amature swerver  :driver:

I had my car in for service to day at Votex thought it would be rude to ignore the opportunity to go stage 2
I have to say i didn't think it was going to be a noticeable difference, but i am glad to report i was wrong it feels a lot quicker throughout the range.  :innocent:

I spent the day yesterday on my favorite roads in Wales, about 5 hours in total and have to say how pleased i am with the Revo stage 2. I am so pleased with it on all fronts, i get less wheel spin now and the TC light only flickers a little bit when you really floor it in second. Apart from that it seems to deliver the power much more progressively, and is so smooth.
with this and the zorst, i really cant help pushing on at every opportunity.  :rolleye:
Best 50 pound i have spent so far on the car.  :jumpmove:

Hmm i forgot to ask this time, as we were both in a rush, My Lambda censor cable was all twisted and he very kindly spent 10 minutes extra dropping the under tray down so he could un-plug and straighten the cable.
But i am 90 % sure the settings  will be how they come out of the box.
Stage one for me was a bit to full on in second and third but stage two has really improved the delivery.  :driver:

I'd be interested to know at some point TC! There's little point in having traction control on in my car, it is literally on every second. My boost just comes in in one big chunk. I heard that stage two was a much smoother/more progressive map than stage 1, and it was one of the major contributors to my decision to go straight to stage 2. I hate to think what stage 1 would have been like!

Saying that, the lack of progresiveness makes it rather exhilirating and exciting when you floor it in mine
