Not the most heavily modded mk5 I've ever seen, but I have to say it is the most complete looking!  :congrats:

I thought the pics in front of the grafitti wall looked familiar, I've driven past the wall many a tim but not given it a second look. Really good choice fo some great pics though!

Ash.

I am guessing you are referring to getting the wiper arm off the spline. In the end i just got some mole grips wrapped a towel around the glass, shut my eyes and tugged as hard as i could.  :scared:

^^^^
So you've removed the rear wiper because you prefer the look without it?

Can you still see out the back in wet and foul weather?

Brave move with the mole grips!!

Looks like lomax's golf a bit. . Not sure on the vinyl wrap part on the front bumper, doesnt look shiny the way the real carbon fibre one does? Maybe just the pics. Nice car though

Ok new front brakes finally on and run in, i am planning on testing them properly for the first time at the weekend. :scared:

As above they are from a RS4 2002 model.

I ended up with these brakes after much help from DaveB. I would have loved to have gone balls out and got a big brake kit like Tony Danza's Alcons, but i was severely restricted by my bloody  work wheels, They already stick out 18 and a half mil further than the Monza's, which meant i had to look for options that did not need a spacer.

Also they had to fit inside my 17in track wheels, which amazingly these do, just.  :chicken:

My final consideration was the usage, I plan to do the ring trip, maximum twice a year, and no more than 4 track days a year to add to this. So for me all this considered, and with a lot of research i decided that i needed something a bit better than the R 32/ S3 set up, but not something as mad as some of the big kits on here.  :happy2:
These should be pretty capable after all they have come off a heavier car with 330 BHP as standard.

The set up is - Audi Rs4 (B5) Plain semi floating discs. size  360 x 32mil
                                       Goodridge Hoses/Banjo Bolts
                                        2 pot calipers.
Mintex standard road pads  + some track pads to swap too when on track.

And a pic of my 17in track wheel just fitting over the 360mil disc,  pretty mad.  :rolleye:

I must give a big thanks to DaveB for persevering with me getting this kit on the car, i believe its the first Mk 5 with these on and it has taken a lot of engineering by Dave to achieve this.  The guy really does know his onions.   :congrats:
