25 only had the gti for 3 months, used to have a ST and 182 but the mk5 is by far the best car I have had

God used to have a Mk1 GTI but I've had my Mk5 for 6 years and have no plans to move on.

So, I think you will have all realised that I'm a tad older in years than most of you guys n gals. But, as the saying goes: I don't mind growing old, just as long as I don't have to grow up. <-- There's no danger of that happening! I'm 64.

35 years old had the gti for 2 years, excellent car! :happy2: new to the vw brand bit of a ford man before series 1 rs turbo and series 2, mondeo st200. would only replace the golf with mk6 gti but only when they drop a bit more in price.

I've had GTI's and S3's since I was 18, now im 27 I decided to buy a Clio 197 :confused: Guess i've got it the wrong way round :laugh:

32, very nearly 33!

Had too many performance cars to remember. A Celica VVTLi 190 and my Scooby Spec B stand out as being high points. Oh, and my S2000.  Quite a few low points also!

This is my first GTI though and I love it.
