Dave @Torque Tronix is a good guy  :happy2:

300-305 is easily achievable with a good stg1 map, even on DynoDynamics.

But hes quoting 310 plus??

When I ran a RR day at SRR, which are considered the most consistent, I think the highest stage 1 was 295bhp.

Sorry but this sounds a little too much - Id love to see the before and after RR - Was it on AMD rollers..........

To be fair though its not about the headline figures, its how it drives.

Ok, say its 305bhp. 312bhp is only an extra 2% over what it may be making in reality.

You can gain 5% on a dyno by running with slightly over inflated tyres so the peak figure on a chassis dyno is never a reliable factor. Its the difference in % between stock and tuned and the shape of the power and torque curves.

Mine makes a healthy 298bhp on a DD dyno and 311bhp on a Dastek dyno on a stage 1 map  :happy2:

My point made - the dyno lottery!

Does seem a little high for Stage 1...

What I achieved on JKM's rollers... Standard car with just Revo Stage 1...

Cheers, yeah I would have to say it drives really well, pulls so smoothly through rev range. Was/am very impressed with what APD Performance did to it with the Revo... Hoping the Stage2 on Wednesday just let's the torque curve widen and the bhp continue up at the initial slope... Can't wait. Cheers!

That's a very healthy car and must drive really well  :happy2:

Ever hear the saying " If something seems too good to be true it usually is". I think in most cases the lower figure is more likely to be correct. Even a DynoDynamics dyno is only as good as the operator.

The best way is lay the stock and tuned graphs back to back so the gains can be seen and not just peak number reading.  So if its over reading stock the number will reflect the same on the tuned run.  I tend not to go chasing peak graph numbers instead I aim to get the most area under the curve vs the stock map.
