I'm switching oil in hopes of reducing cam follower wear. So I am wondering since you all seem to have less cam follower wear there than we do here in the states I'd like to know what you would use instead of Castrol Syntec 5w40.

Castrol edge 5 30 here & change cam follower at 10 as matter of course  :happy2:

I would really like to use castrol edge sport 0w40 but I can't find it anywhere here. I do change the follower every 10k miles and probably always will. But I'd feel better if my cam follower didn't look like this every time;
