tbh all rolling roads will vary, even taking it to the same place on consecutive days will show differences. All rolling road figures are there for is a rough guide or indication of how a car is performing. Alot of people like the consistancy of JKM (including me lol) as there is little fluctuation in the results. But even there last time is showed a complete stock gti with 220bhp or something like that so even they will not have perfect readings every time.
Theres nothing wrong with thiers apart from the results are always higher than others but i wouldnt be worried about that

JKM's DD rollers tend to either under-read or more accurately read, depending on your viewpoint. There are stories of people getting 230bhp on a stock GTI on some rollers. I think what's important is that you use the same rollers each time and look at the increase (as a percentage or ratio IMO) rather than raw figures. As above, things can change. I lost 6bhp on the JKM rollers in six months despite the car being stock! I was mega-peeved off until it was explained that even things like seasonal changes can affect the readings.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Numbers don't matter, beyond use as Car health Monitoring.

If you are happy on the road, then all good.

wasnt dissing as i have used them and did due to there consistanacy. Was just making the point that even the best of rollers will differ from time to time. Its hard to try and be diplomatic and not offend anyone. Either way if it feels quick and you enjoy it then it doesnt matter if it were 400bhp or 140bhp  :driver:

Which means that baldy's car on JKM's dyno would make around 305bhp.  :popcornsoda:

Sooooo many predictable replies in this thread!  :indifferent:

just as predictable as yours nath  :P  :signLOL:

Chill

Doesnt matter how big the figures are, its how it drives and whether it highlights an underlying issue with your car. That of which i know too well  :ashamed:

We all jest about BHP figures and whether how Realistic or in some cases Unrealistic they are........ a few years Back, when most of us were New owners of these cars, people were only too quick to jump up Post and say the same..

Enjoy it Balders  :happy2:
