Those clamps on the rear tail pips look utter tat....
..........x2. Had the old style fixed tips on my last one & there much better. It's the one thing stopping me getting one for my ED 30. Might call VWR & see what style they use.

I suppose it's 2 less welds to brake as well...... :-/

Steve.... You know I don't do peer pressure. :-S

As someone pointed out to me, you could just get them welded on!

I suppose if you span the clamp around so the nut is on the bottom that would make it almost invisible.  :happy2:

If you tuck the pipes in, like I have and not stuck out like in the photo, then they are less visible .

Stop making excuses rich why you shouldn't buy a Milltek , it's inevertable  :signLOL:

Got any pics of yours?

I posted this a while ago, by i set My tips right in, and the clamps unless your looking from underneath are less visable.

Well, got the Milly installed this weekend and I'm totally blown away!!!
Absolutely love it. This is how VW should have made the car sound out of the factory. With DSG I can now hear what gear I'm in and the driving experience is now enhanced. Went for a drive three times yesterday and two long ones today. Every time I got home, 10 mins later I wanted to go drive it again.

Fallen in love with my car all over again. Got Eddie's MFSW buttons on the way and fancy cruise control to finish the car off. Hoping to attempt to detail the car next weekend... if I can manage to not drive it!

Glad your enjoying it :happy2: I totally agree, milltek sounds great and very addictive to listen to especially with dsg included

It's a very hard car to part with, and a real keeper :happy2:

Cheers Steve, my sentiments too. Plan to keep her even if kids come along in the future. I'll strap em to a roof rack if needs be!   :signLOL:
