iphone 4 or samsung galaxy 2

i due a upgrade in jan but not sure which phone to go for..bearing in mind i only use the phone to connect to my car kit via blue tooth and browse the web at home on it via wifi

I suspect the outcome will be iPhone 4 but I have just bought a Galaxy S2.

I was disappointed with the 4S spec which I was waiting on.

I love it better than the HTC desire it replaced.

The screen is super high res and I watch films on it all the time.

And I have found myself not using the laptop now for the internet as its great for surfing.

I am no Android fanboy as I have had iPhones and have an iPad but if you want to modify settings and play about I would go for Android every day.

Oh and it was free on T-mobile £25 per month with something like 600mins 800texts and a true unlimited internet add on.

And feminine white!

Had two phones from them now and actually cheaper, by ten pounds per month, than going to T-mobile as I checked.

Bit cheaper than an iPhone.

And it will be unlocked from them as mine was and previous too.

I have the Galaxy SII as a work phone and do like it but i'm not a massive fan of the OS and the range of Apps i would use. Nothing wrong with Android it's just that it doesn't tickle my undercarriage.

If I am totally honest the iOS is very very good and very very easy to use.

Android is a little bit more tricky to navigate initially but then is ok.

There really is nothing in it.

Looking a little dated now but still a great handset. Have a look at the Desire S instead.

I've had a HTC Desire for around 15 months now and I still think it is a good phone. It does everything I want from it and the reception is miles better than my workmates IPhone 4, which is on the same network and is pants. It also seems to download faster than the IPhone 4 too for any given task.

Now The Desire Sensation is a specification killer phone against the IPhone 4S as well, but there doesn't appear to be as much in it.

Top of the bunch was supposed to be the Samsung Google Nexus Prime, but Samsung bottled it and went for a lower spec and gave it a different name to save face. :sad1:

HTC Desire was/is a very good phone but is starting to look a little slow.

Also the internal memory is limiting, I routed mine to direct all the downloaded apps to the SD card which had a special partition on it to do so.

I did consider the HTC Sensation Beats DR Dre AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

But I preferred the Samsung.

That has a dual core 1.5ghz processor though so if its speed your after?

Rumour has it, the Galaxy S3 will be a quad core 2.0ghz processor! Which, if true, is truly mental!

Really the only reason I changed was the monthly tariff and newer phone but I love the S2. :love:

June next year for s3.

both very good  :happy2:
depends what kind of user you are. battery life better on IPhone and easier to use for the non power user  :innocent: but more expensive.

I have the S2 and love it, added 2000mAh extended battery too.
Theres plenty of ROMS to choose (and it gets ICS next year apparently), as well as MIUI rom which is very Apple like if thats your thing.

i love it, easy to use, fast and the music quality is excellent as are the £100 worth of beats headphones you get with it  :pomppomp:

im not a fan of the Apple/iphone stuff
