LED Glow
« on: November 06, 2011, 12:38:11 am »
Anyone experienced this with interior replaced LED bulbs?

Seems light there is some voltage running through them even though there not on, anyway to sort this out?

Cheers,

Zaf

You need to use canbus safe bulbs then they won't do this. Do they work ok when switched on?
GTI going...

Unless I'm being daft, the cambus dose not monitor your interior bulbs, so no need for "canbus friendly"

I thought that but it's the fact they have built in resistors I think. Maybe wrong.

I have led interior wedge bulbs, i get no glow at all! Also the interior bulbs are not monitered apart from the footwell lights! Only canbus leds needed for footwell!
Otherwise you get this
