Have a look at reply 15, top of page 2. I just followed that and it worked. Bare in mind they will only be on if sidelights or headlights are on not all the time.

Matto,

I have just tried again, this mod must be specific to the controller module fitted.
I have no problem locating and going into Central Electronics - 09

I do not have the option of "byte 7"?
I can see this area does appear to control the lighting on the vehicle however I can not see option of "turn signal as parking light".

If anyone can help I would be grateful :happy2:

Cheers guys

Any pics on a xenon car with just side lights? Should look good with the strip of orange
Standard: Rear parking sensors, Parrot Bluetooth

Correct me if im wrong, but does this mod not just look like your indicators are stuck on,imo that is, shame you wouldnt be able to change the colour of them to white as they are indicators first and foremost lol

On my xenons I have them set at around 5-10% so the orange is near gone and it just leaves the nice yellowy glow which tie's in with the side lights.

Tried this on my halogen's, looks cool.

However, each time my indicator goes on when the lights are on it comes up with a bulb out error - anyone any ideas of a workaround? (Not turning off the light out diagnosis though!)
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Hi Darren,

Can you get us a picture of what yours looks like?  I'd love to do this mod but dont want it looking stupidly orange - but if you've done yours as little as 5 - 10% id imagine that it looks pretty subtle.

cheers   :happy2:

This is something I may try, do they light up if you have your light switch on auto or do you have to turn it to side or dip?

^ Just side and dipped Phil  :happy2:

You can run front foglights as active DRL's on the auto switch with the right VCDS config but that setup isn't in compliance with the road traffic act AFAIK
