Advice removing steering column
« on: November 12, 2011, 12:30:43 pm »

There are a few Leon owners on here and I'm sure the parts isn't very different to the Golf.

I'm after advice on removing the steering column plastic surround (without braking it lol)

Thanks in advance!

Mike

IIRC there's a torx screw in the sw adjustment lever bit, and possibly on the flat face between the steering wheel and the column.  It's a while since I did mine....  I had to remove it all to fit my CC on my old car.

To be honest, that steering column shroud looks better put together than the golf ones!
