my new mk5 gti 200bhp
« on: April 10, 2009, 07:03:09 pm »
ok i got rid of my £1500 alfa 145 qv and have brought a 16k  black 07 mk5 gti with 13,000 miles on the clock.

it was a choice over the mk2 civic type r astra vxr seat leon cupra 240 and mazda mps 265bhp. vauxhall i said no because i wanted a car that held its value and could control the power going to the wheels.civic i said no because they are only easy to tune if you throw allot of cash towards them and still the gains aint that good due to n.a engine.and also they wernt holding there value to well.

seat was a no no as the first dealers were rude and the 2nd took to long.also the vehicles were too far out and the interior was too plasticky.but the seats were great.

mazda mps just looked too dull.the mk5 golf gti was just better built than the others, handled better, and held its value the best.also i would rather cruise on the motorway in the golf.leon being 2nd.the mk5 gti is quicker than the on paper specs and 0-60 is quicker than the 7.2 and 6.9s what i have seen.

i have the upgraded 18inch alloys on mine.im going to remap it soon taking bhp to 260-265bhp which for £500 you could never tune a civic type r to gain that much bhp.as it will be a revo non detectable remap thats all i will do to the car as it still has warrenty and im not looking to viod that.im very pleased i love the car best ever car ive had and fastest.quality is as good as the family trees audi

You need to host them on a hosting site such as flickr, photobucket etc.

Then just copy and paste the photo link into here!
