I think there was an element of irony in Mr PDT's reply.

A cheap option would be to do the resonator delete.

Before you ask..... Why anyone would want to do this I don't know  :stupid:
(well I suppose it would come in handy when camping at Inters for toasting bread)

I had a quick search on google cos I remember hearing about these kits years ago...

Doesnt the new RS6 do this? Saw it on Top Gear, it does sound awsome  :ashamed:

Its the new RS5 that does this, a single drop of fuel is dropped onto the exhaust between gear changes, which gives the popping sound.

Yes, but it can be done this way.

You could also drill a hole in the exhaust manifold.  :scared:

The wotbox is launch control and no lift shifting? Search for it on this forum there should be quite a bit on it and then google it. Its from USA. Stevie.

Way back in 1991, I owned a B reg 1.6 Sierra and I used to achieve what the OP desires by simply revving the nuts out of it, turning the ignition key off while pumping the accelerator for a couple of seconds.  Then switch back on and the excess fuel that has found its way into the exhaust would ignite causing major, snap, crackle and pops!!  This was all great fun until the rear silencer was blown off.............and the moral of the story is?

I was only 18 by the way!  :ashamed:

I had a B7 A4 2.0 TFSi, Stock exhaust, panel filters, decat pipe and a Stage 2 map from Shark Performance and that would spit flames out of the back :)
