Yo boys.

Been on this site for a bit now browsing and making the odd post here and there. But now i am pleased to say i am the proud owner of an Edition 30.

I've been on the hunt on and off for a while now trying to find the right car, it had to be red or grey, 3 door, DSG with some toys, xenons being the most important one as i think they change the look of the car loads!

Anyway, after putting a wanted ad on here i recived a txt off a guy telling me he might be selling his. Well after a couple of phone calls, loads of txts and plenty of pictures i finally did a 550 mile round trip last night from Liverpool to Bognor Regis to get it from Martin who was an absolute pleasure to deal with, proper top bloke!

So yeah, the spec is...

Steel Grey 3 door.
DSG.
47k miles full VW history.
Xenons.
Cruise.
Ipod.
Parking Sensors.
Folding mirrors. (I beleive its luxury pack? Puddle lights too)
Sunroof.

Thats it i think. It hasnt got nav, highline dash or a multifunction, bit weird i think as it has other proper options like xenons and even a sunroof?! But i'm not fussed, i can easily retro fit the other bits. :)

The car is totally standard and pretty much immaculate, i couldnt of asked for a better car, its pretty much the car i set out to buy. So to say i'm happy is an understatment!

Heres a couple of pictures i've stole off the previous owner, hope you dont mind Martin! I've been too busy enjoying it today to take any! Lol. I will get some new pictures over the weekend once i've gave it a proper clean.









Plans, well for now i'm hoping to sort my other car out for daily use so this can be put away over the harsh winter. Then after that, just little bits and bobs for now to get it mint. Then next year the obvious Revo Stage 2+.

Welcome mate  :happy2: I picked up my 57plate 3dr manual steel grey Edition 30 up a week ago. Absolutely love it. Ive got everything youve got exept for the suroof, got sat nav though  :P

I was always a Red man through and through. But when i started looking at Grey ones and now i've actually got one, my minds been swayed.

I love the grey too, looked at one before my Candy Ed30 came up, better spec, lower mileage and lower price meant I went for Candy instead, I was not bothered if I had White Or Steel Grey, I just knew I did not want red and was 50/50 on the black.

Yeah i've got a shopping list in my head already! A nav and a Milltek is on the list along with everything else, i'm so happy with it for now though, everyone who see's it and goes in it loves the thing. They really are awesome cars!

I went to my mates unit last night, we clayed it, my mate gave it a quick machine polish, then i polished and waxed it. It came up lovely! I went to Oulton Park today too and my mate got pictures, i'll start a thread in members rides after.  :smiley:
