I took it as tongue in cheek to be honest. But I never post scathing comments on anyones car. the licensce plate thing is a preference to be honest, if you buy a jap import car most come with this for instance the EVo it wouldn't put me off buying one :grin:

I agree about the licence plate - if you could have removed it....

Some of the shots look stunning and definitely contenders for the MKV 2010 calendar (if micsta ever does another one!) but again, the license plate ruins it - even if you'd left the reg in.

My faves are MC2, MC12 and MC19 (I think).

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I'm too scared to comment on the quality or otherwise of the photography(!) but although I may have missed previous threads can we be told what has been done to the car to make these prestigious publications so enthusiastic??

lol they haven't actually said anything, I merely quoted them to create an auora with regards to the photos.

however, im sure if they had a look over the car, im pretty sure thats what they would publish!  :wink:
