Intoduced myself months ago, so I suppose I better stick up a bit of a thread. Have the car two years now, hasn't put a foot wrong, long may it continue. It's the 140bph version, only performance mods so far are a remap to 170ish and an ITG panel filter (though technically not a performance upgrade)
Bought the car in Belfast from Issac Agnew (9 month old demo, 9k on the clock) Live in the south, near Dublin
when I bought it
Colour code front/rear valance, R-Line Fog grills and german style number plates
Milltek cat back
Debadged rear, Edition 30 rear bumper, Gti side skirts and Votex roof spolier all colour coded
Number plate LED's (not a great pic)
Osram nightbreaker plus 90% mains and dips, blue vision side lights
Lamin-X fogs, Gti lower grill
H&R spacers: 10mm each side at front and 15mm at rear (again crap pic)
Black VW emblem
Golf ball gear gator, 3m carbon wrapped trims
US spec tinted tail lights
LED side marker (hard to see with the phone pic)
Currently have these on my classix at the moment (which will become my winter wheels) Nankang SV2, very impressed with them in the wet so far, had Michelin HP Primacys on which weren't a bad tyre at all, but once the temp has dropped there is a noticeable improvement with the Nankangs
My new summer wheels
BBS VZ033's 18x8J, ET44. Was thinking of a set of Pescara's but the lower offset on the VZ's made my mind up. Gorgeous finish on them. Got the BBS valve caps as well to finish them off
Briefly fitted two of them, had to see them on a for a quick peek and of course it started lashing rain straight away (gave them 6 coats of poor boys wheel sealant over a couple of days, brilliant finish on them now) classix are back on again for the winter
So thats as far as I am. With the VZ's on it just highlights the need for a bit of lowering all the more, probably go H&R springs or a H&R cup kit if I can stretch. Also replace the interior bulbs with LED's, really nice difference, I stick up pics soon.
