Hello all from New Member from Nottinghamshire
« on: April 14, 2009, 03:30:46 pm »
Afternoon all,

Would like to say hello to you all and there are some cracking cars on here. As of now i am currently an owner of an 56 plate Vauxhall Astra H SRi 1.9 CDTI 150 with a dutk tuning box on. but i am looking to trade that in and get Mk5 Golf GT TDI 170 at the moment i am just searching the internet for a rough price and some information really. What are you views on the Golf in question? what tuning posiblities are there? and the main question is Manual or DSG? Any help would be great?

Many Thanks

Matt

Welcome to the forum  :happy2:

Just test drive two 170's, one with manual and one with DSG and decide which you prefer the most. Only you can really be the judge of what is better in terms of which set-up best suits your driving style normal driving conditions.

Welcome, and if you test drive a DSG, make it a good long drive. It takes time for it to "Click"

Thank you all. I am from New Ollerton. Apart from the obvious is there much difference fro the 140 and the 170? and as for getting black they are a lovely car when clean but a nightmare to keep clear. I'm looking forward to test driving at the weekend
