Its not gonna be easy. You'll need to retro fit all of the  motorised flaps for heat control and air flow. Its far from impossible, and also far from easy!

Oh its all motorised is it ? I thought it might of just been a straight swap or something. Do you need vagcom to do it because that is one thing i cant get hold of

I know, i would love them. So i need the dials, new vents, new surround, electrical work ? So dash out and hooking up to vagcom? And the rest ?

Rcd510 - i need a can gateway and then its a straight swap ? With no hookup ?

Dials ? Do i need vagcom for the full digi screen ?

If only i had a bottomless bank balance  :happy2:

To do the climate control retro fit you need a donor car to strip all the bits from including sections of wiring loom/dash surrounds ect. It's possible and has been done but not for the faint hearted.

Highline display can be done easily if your car is pre late 2005 but you'll still need someone with K+ CAN commander and a new highline display of the correct vintage. If your car is later then its much more complicated as it needs specialist software but I know of a man who can...

For a new generation radio/sat nav you'll need a post 'K' gateway which will need to be coded with VAG COM to stop battery drain.

How hard would it be to fit and install the bottom part of that centre console?

What software is for what ? And how much is it for the software ?
