Standard alloys?
« on: December 13, 2011, 04:13:06 pm »
Hi Just got a new 2005 GTI in Silver. My favourite thing I think about the Car is the 18in Monza alloys that came with it. I think 18in are an optional extra but I just love these alloys and possibly could be my favourite.

After looking through the members gallery's ive noticed on here that a lot of people are changing these for other alloys such as BBS, I liked the BBS when I had my MK2 but I dont think the MK5 suits as well as the MK2 did.

Does anyone else really like the Monza's or is it just me ha!

Love the Monza 2's. Got them on mine, and I'd put them on an Ed30 if I ever bought one of those.

Have the standard 17s on mine, actual looked for cars with them as not fond of the shiny finish of the monza 2s. Now if they are refurbed silver or black on the right car then you are talking :)

And risking the rath of many, really not into the pescaras, the big 5 spokes look king  :driver:

I have the best of both worlds, Pescaras for the summer and Monza 2s for the winter  :happy2:

If i'm honest i do prefer the Pescaras as imo the suit the ED30 a treat but i do love my anthracite Monzas too!
