You can chose any Repair centre you want. It will just mean that if you don't use one affiliated to your insurance co. you need to get a quote from them for the work first before they will authorise it.

I did this recently when some dizzy hint reversed into my car. I told them (i claimed through her insurance not mine) i wanted it doing at a Skoda Dealer and not the place they wanted to take it.

As said you can choose your own repair centre, I did and I'm glad it didn't go to Arnold Shark.

well a mate came over and had a look at the car for me to see what the damage would be and he reckons its a write off  :sad1:
giving it to Arnold Clark tomorrow to see what they say in the matter.

chassis twisted...shock bent...battery uplifted...and engine moved to the one side lol
oh and the rear lowering springs are fine if anyone wants them for a few beer tokens  :signLOL:

not got a clue, might just go without a car for 6months, ive been saving up for vineers and a full sleeve tattoo so no car will speed up the process.
i have a company vehicle and i can use my girlfriends Cooper S so i'm not to fussed just now. Most likely either going to be an Edition30, R32 or might just save up a bigger deposit and get an S3 Sportback
