Looking into it, 595s seem to be being used in a fair few race series - so I think you'd be good to go anyway.

with the conti's does it not need to be the SC 5"P" for performance? I thought unless they had the P on the end they were not the optimum tyre? Am sure The Bruce told me something similiar...
