what are the benefits of having a jail broke iphone?? i have heard of the term before but not sure what its about. i just got my mrs a iphone 4s, would it be worth getting it jail broke???

does it work on an iphone 4 as well??

This is only for the 4S or the iPAD2 with the new A5 chip, however when Apple release 5.1 this jailbreak will stop working

There is already a jailbreak out for the iPhone 4 (corona)

It allows you to customise the look and feel of the iphone, 3rd party tweaks (where do you think Apple gets all its new features from) and apps from outside the App Store  :innocent:

is it something you can do yourself?? i might try and get it done on my iphone 4 as if it screws the phone i am due an upgrade soon anyway, dont think i will try it with my ipad though, i have not had it long

Well I have tried it in my iPhone and iPad and neither have been jailbroken !!, proper irritating nightmare too as I lost all my pictures a few times and have had to restore about 5 times !, I just keep getting a white screen but nothing else ?, tried turning on VPN on the iPad and that didn't work and the iPhone won't turn VPN on without a password !! ?, will anyone else be releasing a JB soon as this one IMO just doesn't work !( well not for me anyway)

Had to install VMware and MAC Lion on my windows 7 laptop, but jailbreak went through with no problems

Whereas my old 4 slowed down abit with winterboard, the 4S just flys

Counting down until Apple release 5.1, and we lose the jailbreak  :sad1:
