My KO4 MK5 GTi
« on: January 24, 2012, 01:16:16 pm »
Here's a few pics of the GTi since ive had it, been around two months now.

when i got it:

fitting the BSH PCV fix:

the crap th stock PCV lets into the inlet mani:

then i went and tidied up the bay with a new filter and a good clean!

and i used a filter sock to keep it that way

then i fitted the BSH boost tap:

then it was time to take off the GT28 and go back to an OEM setup, i just prefer the delivery of the KO4.

while i was there i fitted up a BSH catch can because this is what i found in the crankcase breather!

other than that i have gone back to the stock splitter and modified the front legs so it sits a little lower :)

hopefully lots more to come soon! :happy2:

Looking forward to seeing the updates, lose track on ED38 as the build threads move that fast.
Reckon you can have it close in power to the MK4?

Nice looking car mate. Just one question, what's the deal with the rear view mirror?

ha! the rear view mirror - it's just old habbit from running RWD cars with locked diffs and bald rear tyres. it's handy to see if theres police about  :driver:

torque wise it's at 350ft/lb - it changes all the time though as im allways tinkering and trying out new setups to get a little more power  :happy2:
