Yaaaay, another Polo GTI owner. We are taking over....slowly but surely, they are all weakening to those Polo curvy lines and tempting sylph like weight, and best of all - underneath she's a little devil with bags of energy.  :driver:

Cheers John. If i had stuck with my brand new order last September, id have already been driving one and modified it!

Fixed that for you :happy2:
Golf R gone.

What bridged the gap between the Roc' and this then Deako?  :happy2:

Thought you'd always had Dubs TBH.
Polo looks a little h00t. I've heard no real negativity about that engine other than it likes a drink of oil apparently, if you believe anything Evo mag says.

I see it's got headlight jets so I expect to see some OEM Xenons on your to-do list  :P

I had a Fiat 500 that we brought through work as a tide over car. Hadnt originally intended to change it before the summer, but couldnt resist any longer.

Ive mostly had dubs since i could drive. But also tried a Clio 200 in between and also the Fiat 500.

It does have the winter pack, so OEM Xenons are an option at some stage. Only problem is the self levellers which are going to be checked as part of MOTs in the future. Still, this car isnt due an MOT for quite a while, so its definitely an option. I'd also like to change the RCD310 for an RNS at some stage. Lowering springs, remap, TD Pro Race 1.2, Milltek and CAI and a BBK.

Levellers aren't that hard to do apart from getting the wiring to the back torsen arm the rest is just coding and the part number. :happy2:

Might have to get someone to do it all once i have got all the parts then.  :happy2: I definitely want Xenons. The only other white one i could find with xenons was about 200 miles away.

Well, the car is now back home on the drive. Convenience pack is ticked as well.

So chuffed with the car. Cant wait to drive it some more, except not in rush hour traffic through Birmingham.

Knew the bliss couldnt last for too long. 2nd time i drove the car last night and i had the DSG kiss of death when the car limps into neutral while its moving. Happened while at a set of traffic lights, extremely dangerous. New box/mechatronics unit time already. Record time, it took a month or so until it died in my Rocco.

Borrowing a VCDS cable tonight, so might be able to take a look at some logs and see what faults were reported if any.
