Just ordered some Boxster S rear calipers, brackets and HEL lines. Having them refurbished in red with white brembo stickers, rather than Porsche. 2 weeks. Cant wait!!!!  :happy2:

I wish Id remembered to order some Cupra Decals when ordering the Turbo calipers

Thanks guys.

They will be clear powder coated over the vinyl as well.  :happy2:

Looking forward to bringing the few planned mods together.

After the brakes/springs, i will be looking for some Pro Race 1.2. Same spec as i had on the Clio 200.

Looks great Luke  :notworthy:

I too keep contemplating one

Just out of interest mate, what spec are the wheels? Im guessing they aren't the same as the golf?

Typical 5x100 fitment on the Polo. I'll most likely be going for ET35 17x7.5".

You sticking to 17's? can you fit 18's, 19's without any probs?

Also am I right in thinking they are the same spec as mk4 golfs? (not sure what the ET was on the mk4)

As above, definitely sticking with 17s. Im sure 18s would look ok under there, but the standard fitment tyres are 215/40, so would need to go for very harsh tyres to maintain rolling radius for the road. Yeah, basically same assembly as a Mk4 Golf.

Cheers mate. The RCD510 is an awesome upgrade to the standard CD player. Its all the looks and features of the RNS510 except the HDD/Nav.

My cherished plate was put on the car today after visiting the DVLA office after work yesterday. D9 AKO is back in business.  :happy2:

I mullered the front plate when i fitted it wonky, needing some bending back into shape, and about 30 minutes of removing damn sticky pads again.

Also some changes to the BBK specs, as can be seen in the NQSBBKLB thread. Now going for Boxter front calipers, on some DaveB custom brackets. Seems the Boxster S rears would have been dangerous due to the small piston sizes and the brackets unsuitable due to a 4mm boss being required for the Polo 6R hubs.
