I thought I would send an email to the company asking if these were genuine VW and the reply I got was this,

"Hello,

Many thanks for your email.

This is just to confirm that this is a genuine VW product.

Please do let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Best Regards

Eurowagens Limited"

So i'm not sure what to do  :popcornsoda:

Cheers,
Ben

If they have a favourable returns policy its worth a punt IMO.

Are the OEM lights not made by Hello or are they Valeo?

I think I will have to look into their returns policy and see  :sad1:

Iirc i'm sure they're made by Valeo

Cheers,
Ben

As far as I know the genuine lights are made by hella and the LED ones are by Valeo  :happy2:

Just the review by jungleface saying he had to modify to make them fit put me off giving them a go

Might of been a dodgy set or batch tho ya never know, and if they've said they are genuine and turn out not to be sending them back should be fairly easy and the phone number on the website is in the uk too

I bought some of the hella LED rear lights but no matter how many times a tried i couldn't get the plug to stay in, it just kept springing out again.  I gave up and took them back.
