we can argue this until the cows come home! lol

Im not a massive fan of the GTR but i know how much of a weapon they can be! been round the ring in one, and i was really surprised what it was taking on an spitting out for fun. Yes there heavy but they have that many gizmos throwing it round a track disguises its weight pretty dam well!

Yep! talking Tosh gain.  :P   you sound like an investment broker who just wasn't quite good enough at his job, to be able to afford an M3.  :innocent:  :signLOL:
In all seriousness if you really judge a person by what car they own, are you yourself happy to bundled in with all financial advisor's and their reputation.  :popcornsoda:
[/quote]

I used to be an investment broker and did pretty well at it thanks, but after a few years (4) got sick of it, and due to family health issues (Mother has heart problems) I needed to be near family not stuck 8000 miles away so gave up my career and settled near family and started my own business (doing well thanks!), as for "affording an M3" your now talking tosh, they are not exactly expensive, I work from home my car is sat on the drive most of the time, rather than have £35K car on the drive (which only does 3.5k miles per year) I choose to own a car I like (ED30) and spend my money on other things (Like houses and holidays  :booty:), If i wanted an M3 I could get one, but I simply dont want one, The CSL was great (Sounded like a Spitfire in mode 5, what we used to call "Defcon 1").
I only judge M3 drivers as most of them are tools, im sure some of them are decent blokes, although personally only ever met one of those!.

Enough said on this subject me thinks

Let's chill for a second

The GTR is a mega fast car none the less, it's rated as one of the best handling cars around at current, it's extremely fast at 3second 0-60 and it's V6 twin blower will make sure it doesn't run out of steam at high revs....hence the 190MPH top speed,
911 turbo will cost more to run than a GTR, I will buy a GTR around 26/25 and still keep my Eddie I think and them I've got the best of both worlds  :driver:

I didnt want this thread to turn into a argument  :ashamed:

I value everyone's opinion seriously on here  :drinking: unless its talking crap  :signLOL:

Yes agreed, the GTR is a seriosuly fast car as standard and I would love to see any 911 trying to keep up with it, comparing a re-mapped 911 with PDK to a std GTR is hardly fair (Its like comparing frosties to corn flakes  :surprised:) a re-mapped GTR against a remapped porsche will be different matter and your likely to still have 30K change in your pocket with the GTR compared to 911 Turbo  :booty: (Thats enough for a Golf R or an S3 and an Ed30 )

If I was to sell a house and buy a seriosuly fast car the GTR would be very high on the list, but honestly speaking I wont do it as a house generating rent rates higher than a street weapon i only use occasionally  :happy2:

Amen. I ran an S6 for 18months. Absolutely loved it but it made an R32 look like a Bluemotion.  :ashamed: :chicken:

Which one?  Anyway, nice sleeper car!

Would not have a clue (and dont really care  :indifferent:), I know which one I woke up in, the one i lived in for 3 years.

Right got work to do, wheres that property news, might buy another house  :booty: I will gladly take a 6.5% yield from a rented property anyday  :drinking:
