This is the set up I hope to go with once funds allow...

Thanks.

WOW Mike

I thought you had the NQSBBK.

How are you finding the Bigger brothers now???

They look amazing mate  :happy2:

I'm in the same boat when it comes to the discs. I would love to shed some weight and get the NQSBBK, but having the S3 brakes all round I really don't wanna go back to the smaller 312's.

Looks like you have found the best of both worlds matey.    (although spacers with the oem wheels put me off a bit)

Whats the price/availablity/selection of the discs and pads like?  :popcornsoda:

….Ive got an R32 front brake setup all boxed up in the garage, and I couldn't believe what they weighed!!! 42KGS  :jumping: :scared: :jumping:
(The old front AND rear GTi brakes weighed in at 50kgs)

Thanks Carlo

Ill be honest Ive barely driven the car lately!  :sad1:  They do have a great feel though.

Had it been more than 3mm spacer I wouldn't have been happy.

Price would range from £700 - £1100 depending where you source your calipers (and if you feel they want a refurb) and what discs you get (plain, drilled, j hooked etc as per 1st post)

I was happy with the performance of the nqsbbk but other than a ££££ (and expensive to maintain) 2 piece rotor kit with lightweight calipers (VWR/Alcon etc) this is the ideal soloution for me, until I win the lottery

As ive driven it more than Mike recently all I will say is they work very well and I dont think the extra weight has comprimised anything.

Just needs some slightly better pads and they will give the kit some more feel.
