I thought it was that much for just the accelerator pedal?  Ironic that they are from the Czech Republic, but don't fit the Octavia vRS  :stupid:

The ad does say 'genuine' and they clearly have a VW badge, obviously the seller could be lying.

I understand that ones from Lithuanian could be copies, but bear in mind they build the vRS in the Czech Rep, which means there is a good chance they will be genuine.

If you scroll down on the ad, there is a picture with a VW sticker and part number?  Also, worth looking at their feedback, they have sold quite a few of these pedal sets and the feedback is all positive.  :happy2:

Sounds like positive seller - you always have the option to dispute if you are not happy.

If it was me, Id email the seller for peace of mind < please can you confirm these are 100% genuine VW parts

Cheers Eddie, is it a special VAG tool for the accelerator pedal then or would a mechanic have it?

When it was offered as a retail kit it came a plastic tool to release the securing tabs. I just used a slotted screwdriver

The retail kit is no longer available, it was around the £90 mark
To buy all the items individually is nearly £130
so the price on ebay is a steal, came within 3days when I ordered :happy2:
