Those Braille batteries are really good :happy2:

I was debating getting one until I was told they wouldn't be suitable when running a power hungry amp and sub

I like weight savings, but I like my tunes more :jumpmove:

It's his Tee shirt that made me smile

I wonder if he'll have to vcds the car as there's a section in there to change depending on the make of battery used.
Without traction power is nothing!

I was told that the power is okay whilst the car engine is running, but the power drops off quickly if you try using anything in the car with the engine off. Braille do slightly larger versions too, which have a higher PCA and are better for "engine off" use.

See linky below...the cf ones are really nice, but actually weigh more than the standard ones as they are a coating

My son is holding the battery, it's an awl and she is called mooney after is girlfriend. I have the battery on test to see if it can cope with starting+lights+stereo. If not i can upgrade to the next size free of charge. When i see carbon fiber why do i think of Mr Hurdy. :signLOL:

Do two Braille Batts weigh less than a standard one?
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

Yes!

The stock battery weighs approx 16kg = 35lb

I'm sure jonnyc weighed the stock battery when he bought a Braille battery and so it would be in his build thread somewhere.
