Grill badge

How easy is it to remove the front grill badge? Do you need the grill off to remove it?

Was thinking of changing it to a red one - would it look ok on a red GTI you reckon?

Its quite easy to remove the badge. You'll need to remove the honeycomb grill (videos on youtube should help with this). When you have the grill off its just a matter of twisting the badge for it to pop out.. Simple as that  :happy2:

Well you won't break it if you remove the grille.  :happy2:

Plus it's only 4 screws to take off the grill. When you have done it once, you will see how easy it is.

Its good practise because you will prob find that you will take it off quite a few times in the future.
(if you paint the VW badge, change the grille stripe colour etc)
