1210 Miles for £20?
« on: February 17, 2012, 07:45:57 pm »
Ive already worked out that the miles to empty feature isnt the most accurate thing in the world  :signLOL: But last night mine was showing 0 and i still drove for a good 20-35 miles. Now when i eventually put some fuel in it was reading 1210miles to empty (not bad for £20)  :signLOL: Now ive done a quick search and am i right in thinkin it maybe the fuel sender unit?? It was working fine before i put the £20 worth of juice in and the average and current mpg is still working fine. As the sender unit fuel pump are the same unit could this be the reason why sometimes my car doesnt want to start and i have to start it with my throttle flat to the floor?? Ive just had my egr valve replaced as this had gone causing the car to use loads of fuel....I got 11 miles for £10 the other day. Ive not used my car yet today but did flick the ignition on before and its reading at the min 450, i did about 15 miles last night after filling up?! Any ideas? :fighting:
