So is there an "Epic valvetech system" for a Mk5 GTi. That last one looked like it was a Mk5?

This might be a bit of a difficult thing to do as I'm in hampshire.
If you can offer additional information on this system then that would be most appreciated.
Perhaps in another thread as I don't want to hijack this thread.

Thanks.

No worries - I will be starting a new thread when I have all of the data needed to do a full promotion.
By way of a sweetener...
Firstly I wanted firstly create something new.
However, it still had to fit into the brief of supporting all of my pre requisites for a performance exhaust system, high power potential - great sound - and a classy look.
The use of a 76mm flow valve in a layout ahead of the centre silencer with a diaphragm spring pressure set to work with turbo boost settings of a standard and mapped car was a difficult problem to solve. We have achieved it though by working closely with one of the leading exhaust flow valve manufacturers over a period of six months.
So now when the car is on tick over or under normal low pressure running the valve is in the closed position utilising the full potential for silencing that our huge 12" X 7" centre silencer provides.
However, once the car starts to come on boost, the valve begins to open which allows the gasses to take a more direct route, through a straight through 76mm bore section of the silencer, rendering the silencer redundant.
This leaves the car reliant on just the front silencer. Effectively turning the car into a full on race sounding beast. the good news from a comfort point of view is that when the car is on boost the boom stage has passed - so guess what - no drone!!
In addition power delivery is far more linear at the bottom end as the flow requirement is provided on demand.
The minute the boost comes off - back to a stock sound (Great when cruising).
This as I said makes for an incredibly addictive driving experience, one which simply leaves you with a craving for more wheel time.
Hope this helps.
