I am not having the delete pipe, just the middle knocked out. I am having a remap and also fitting an EGR delete at the same time as that will need mapping out aswell. Costing me a smidge over 500 notes all in but that was with some show discount.

I'm having it done at Shark Performance and I know they do a Stage 0 which is just the DPF removal without the remap so you could go down that route if your abit strapped for cash.

find out how they are going to clean it out?

some garages use a flush but this only works temporarily as the VW dpf's are not designed to be flushed, they are designed to be replaced.

Some garages use the jet wash  :surprised:

which ever route you choose is going to be costly, the cheapest is to remove dpf & remap.

I have removed a few now due to this issue

Once its in limp mode you will struggle to do a full regen without forcing it via diagnostics.

Heres some info:

If you wanted to get rid of the DPF, Miltek do a delete pipe. Mine is in for DPF delete next month.

dare i be so rude as to ask how much thats costing? and are you having a re-map done at the same time?

Had mine done £600 ish for a turbo back system and £350 for a custom map 230bhp and 460Nm tho  :happy2:

Thats good news then.... Was going to give you the number of a friend of mine in Grimsby but you got sorted so that's cool.... His website is a little poor but he obviously knows what he is doing and his mapping is a good price...

I had a Chipboost map on my old Fabia VRS and had 50,000 trouble free miles with it.  Glad you got your car sorted
