Can you judge a book by it's cover?
« on: February 29, 2012, 12:54:59 pm »
As some of you will remember I had my bonnet resprayed by a cowboy last year. he's made a mess of it and i'm getting it redone

I got recommended a new bodyshop by one of our newer members PSI Tuning (my local VAG specialist) and i've popped it down. Now, i didn't know this but it happens to be VAG and Merc approved, and had an F40 and a DB5 in the back waiting to be touched up

is it wrong to have a positive feeling about this? they weren't even charging much more than the first muppet who ruined my baby.

thing is, the first guy who'd done it had recently won an award for paintwork at a classic Ford show, and i'd seen the work he'd done on his own Mk1 and it was stunning. tbh i'm just disheartened and untrusting about the whole thing now

Can't work out how he won an award after cocking yours up so bad  :stupid: maybe he paid someone else to do it then took the glory. Hope the new respray goes well for you!
