Yes Ben the standard Black appears to be a lot softer than DBP. In fact its possible to leave a swirl type scratch by running your finger over a small spot on the paint!!  :surprised:

Yup not surprised as much now at the state it was in, but then again it had no protection whatsoever on the paintwork......

Cheers for confirming my thoughts :happy2: It explains alot of the marks that have suddenly appeared on my car since the last time I washed it :fighting:

Yes but you could say that about all cars, but some paints are harder than others and all have a top coat. It may well be more top coat is applied to a metallic to enhance the metallic finish?

Managed to pop down today. Love the setup, even though it's not 100% complete. Very impressed by it all.

Loved the cars that were there. The ED30 has really been turned around!
