Nah it really isn't recommended, it will probably shorten the life of the turbo (although I'm no expert here).  It's a really peaky curve for the power and all that power comes in quite early in the rev range. A K04 hybrid would give a much better curve.

I've been a passenger in this car and it really is MENTAL

James wanted all out crazy power, and that is exactly what he got. Niki spent 3 days and 2 tanks of fuel getting this right on the dyno.

At JKM dyno day it made more power than a BT setup and nearly pulled itself out of the dyno  :scared:

Niki wouldn't send any average joe with this level of power, unless they understood what they were letting themselves in for (like James) it's a real specialist setup.

Would love to see what Niki could do with yours Pikey  his new VVT mapping would help to spool that turbo earlier for starters  :notworthy:

It has cross my mind.. Revo are good to me though so wouldnt be an overnight decision

I'm sure REVO will cater for your needs Pikey M ;)

Over the top mod list ;o)

How was the SMF Helix Kit, James? Sorry for the revival?  I'll be at similar power soon so you are the vest person to ask!

Im currently sachs dmf / organic, which has been great and civilised as daily at 360hp

Might be better of asking @J14RKL as he's the one who owns this now.

James has sold this to James Arkell - he's on TFSI Tuning FB group. I remember the clutch pedal was pretty heavy

Only just seen this.
Yes i now own this car.

Clutch is very heavy but you get used to it. It has managed to break 4 sachs master cylinders and 2 FTE Masters. Also one fluid damper thingy....
I have changed to a 1 piece braided line to help with it.

Both James and myself use the older Helix cover.  The clutch in Dan's Leon was loads lighter and smoother than mine.
