i don't see any differance between 2 and 3  3 is just heavier

Faster processor (by 0.2ghz )
Faster Graphics (quad core)
More ram (now 1gb)
Better Bluetooth
Better Wireless (and network if you get the 4G one)
Better Screen
Better Cameras (not really important except for Face Time)

So not much
Lol not of that makes sence to me! I agree it must be better, just that I can't really tell for what I use it for, anyway the 3 is not mine it's the hers so maybe I'm just jealous with my old fashioned 2
BMW 335d msport touring lci. Auto, estate and diesel! Oh no

Been at the apple store this morning. The screen really is stunning. So much more clarity over the iPad 2. If I wasn't put of pocket on my wheels, the I would have been reaching for my wallet.

I have heard otherwise. The bands used on the 4G side of things are suitable for the USA, but actually will not work in the UK. Apples response is.........it will work when you are in the USA.

I don't think they would be allowed to sell it in the UK as 4G if it won't connect to a 4G network. Only time will tell but anyone living in London or Cornwall should be able to answer

anyone read the ifixit teardown?

And Samsung share went up after that,

"The site iFixit said markings on the powerful Apple chip showed it was made in fabrication facilities run by Samsung. The Korean firm is also the sole supplier of the high-definition screens used in the 2012 iPad."

:signLOL: Must say as an Ipad virgin I am impressed with mine so far.  :happy2:
Bye Bye Edition 30.

Germany.

The only ones doing it in the UK at the moment are O2 and Everything Everywhere (T-Mobile and Orange)

Is anyone else finding the battery life on the new iPad pretty poor? It was one of the things that surprised me most about the iPad 2 - a lot of the time it could be a few days to a week before it needed charging, but I'm lucky with the new one if it last a whole day.

No mine lasts ages

I charged mine up yesterday and I'm still on 91% now after using it most of the evening.

What are you doing on it?

It's potentially because I've mistakenly been running it 100% brightness. A few of the lads in the studio have also noticed a difference too though.
