VW 2 year warranty

say If I was to buy genuine VW parts then get a garage to fit them, am I still covered with their ''2 year warranty on parts & labour'' as I want to get genuine parts but get a specialist garage to fit them

I'm pretty certain it has to be fitted by a VW Dealer. Otherwise you just get the normal 12 months warranty.
