Im happy mclaren locked out the front row again.  Its looking good for them though they have got to stay on top development wise as there isn't much between the cars.

This year is so far promising to be another great season of F1 racing. It's more than just a 2-horse race, both from the driver and team point of view.

Great to see Schumi doing well at last and also Kimi being competitive. I feel very sorry for Massa - He's never found his old form since his accident.

 nice to see the front row locked out with the right team, my although a button fan my money is on sulky pants to get this one, red bull playing strategic for tyres should be interesting and my hat is off for schumie, never been a fan but great pace from him

Good call on Kobayashi  . When he first appeared he was overtaking everyone left, right and centre, a real breath of fresh air and good to watch. Can see him giving the Spaniard a run for his money.

....I'm not saying that Kob is any less talented than the other drivers but at this F1 level he is not the only up-n-coming bright star on the horizon. I don't think any of them are quite the equivalent of what Schumi was in his heyday - 7 World Championships in case anyone has forgotten.

In his Heyday, yes. Best driver, best car (most of the time). Am a big admirer of the fella but (pointless question) if his heyday was today would he stand out above Hamilton, Vettel or Alonso given equal machinery? I think the quality today is far greater than 10-15 years ago, no offence Damon!

The question about how well Schumi stands out above present day drivers is exactly what we were all wanting to have answered by his return. Last season the answer was clearly no but so far this year Schumi is looking good so far. However, his Mercedes has certain DRS >> Front wing advantages which the FIA have deemed to be legal but the other teams don't have yet.
