« on: March 29, 2012, 06:35:45 pm »
Im on the lookout for a set of coilovers that go realy low so i can get a nice stance at shows/meets etc, iv had some kits in the past on previous cars that dont go low enough,

so which go lowest for the GTI?

H&R Ultra Lows, or you can get custom extra deep H&R Coilovers.

I run Ultra lows and the arches currently sit just over the wheels. I've got about 20mm odd left on the threads too, but would need a chassis notch.

Most coilovers on the market for the gti can go low enough to need a chassis notch, some require the helper springs removing but its possible.
