Coilpack plug wiring
« on: April 04, 2012, 04:55:55 pm »
Right was having a nosey earlier today and decided to remove my engine cover, what a PITA they are to get off... I noticed that somebody had previously cracked the cover on the RHS uinderneath but this is quite understandable giving the fact they are hard to get off but as it can't be seen I can live with it...

While having a look I noticed that one of the coilpack plugs has the top clip broken now it is secure but things like this really gripe at me so I was wondering if its possible to buy a replacement or would I require a complete new wiring harness to solve this. Now I am fully prepared for the replies but I am the fussiest person ever and once I know something is broken it drives me crazy.

Any help appreciated????

Regards
John

You can buy the plugs separately for around 3 quid each, but you need a tool to remove the wiring from the plug.  Laser make the tools for about 20 quid or so.

I have a few plugs on stock and the tool to swap the wiring over  :happy2:
