Starter motor cleaning...

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum so firstly a big hello!

I have a quick question which I'm hoping the very knowledgable folk on here can answer.

My starter motor has battery acid on it and I want to clean it - will be ok if I just disconnect the battery and pressure wash it as it seems to be all over it?
