Thinking of getting one of these instead of the hand pump jobs. Will also come in handy when we go camping.

Anybody got or used either of these units? Any input would be welcome.

Yes but you call that bad-luck or nature's misfortune... the idea behind detailing / caring for your car is that you don't knowingly / wilfully marr your own paintwork!  :booty:  :grin:

when dealing with the things you value there is no harm in thinking things through and taking precautions, every chance of harm from a willy nilly approach  :happy2:

....I don't call it bad luck - It's just normal wear and tear when you enjoy driving. Irrespective of stone chips etc it's not a good idea to drive too close to the vehicle in front anyway. I think you can value your car and love it just as much without detailing it every Sunday or getting too worried about stuff which inevitably happens.

Agreed Robin and that was what i was trying to get across (in a fairly unsuccessful manner) - if it happens on the road then that is *shoite happens* / nature's misfortune, general wear & tear as it is referred to, if you do it yourself knowingly then that's gormless numptyism  :laugh:

I managed to use my new Nilfisk for about 5 hours today. Patio cleaned, drive cleaned.  :happy2: :happy2:
