Are you getting the mileage per tank from it that you expected and had hoped for? I know you do a shedload of miles most of the time.

Looks a nice place to be for hours on end

It's running really well and when I am not in heavy right foot mode it easily achieves >50mpg, long term average over the last 3k miles is 43mpg.

I suppose that may well improve as the engine loosens up.

I'd love to get in of these but I can't afford the difference. :-(

Seems an accomplished all rounder.

They're growing in appeal to me and others coming from and looking at similar cars. There's not many around here either considering they've been out for over a couple of years now - extra attraction it seems

Time for a bit of an update, despite saying I won't do to much to this one the exhaust needed a tweak  

So with a new GTI rear lower spoiler and a new Milltek development in the form of a GTI style system just for the GTD here's the result





Sound wise it really livens the car up with a suitable deep tone to the system  

Now I do like that
