Simple tyres.

Amazing how many people overlook this :happy2:

So true... No point in spending a wedge on chassis mods and running Falken 452 tyres or worse..... is there TFSI-Mike....

Goodyear F1v2 is what i would recommend... the grip they provide is silly, they grip so well in the bends.  :driver:

Good job mike saw the light.  :signLOL:

I have good tyres and try are not my issue as I don't feel am losing grip rather the car is lifting too much, I think it really is down to the roll bars for me, I am running p zeros.
Do anti roll bars make the car stiffer like on bumps and generally?

If you go too stiff then yes to a certain degree, but if you go for the normal bars you wont notice any downsides IMO.  The biggest difference is on direction changes.

Was going to get these myself but thught id try out the Federals.  Cant seem them lasting tolong (treadwear 140) but they are good in the wet and dry

Errm, I've not noticed any increase in ride quality since having my rear ARB put of, but it does make the car much more settled and planted. Understeer is a thing of the past, except if its wet... then all sorts of things can occur :scared:

Dead easy to fit... the rear involves 4 bolts in the middle section and 2 nuts at each end/

Piece of advice

Soak the end bolts/nuts on the drop links in WD40 or similar for a good 10-15 mins before you take them off. I replaced my rear ARB on my last car when it was 2 years old and one side the end of the nut had corroded so bad it wouldn't budge and started to break away at the edges. I had to use a hack saw to get it off and luckily I'd had the forethought to get some spare nuts & bolts.
