Fitting Golf R retainer clips to Cupra brakes

Kufatec are the cheapest place I have found them online;

Price is each. Still not cheap, so I am intending to spray the S3 caliper retaining clips I have, and fit a vinyl sticker. I did purchase an original set of R-line retainers, but am thinking the painted / badged S3 combination might be just as good.

I like the sound of that idea, not being tight but £50-75 for 2 x clips is nuts in my eyes  

Is this something your doing or just thinking? I'm going to do this so if your not too sure I'll put some pictures up of my finished product
