Standard Springs orientation.

Does anybody know if the standard GTI springs can be fitted any way up?

The reason I ask is that I have just had mine refitted and it seems really high.

I know it will settle a bit and I was used to the Eibach's but my good god.

I am not going back BTW but I am a little shocked as it came with the Eibach's fitted.
