I recently sold my Xparts one that I'd had for two years - was never quite happy with the fitment although at the time it seemed like the best option.

Managed to get a brand new in primer GTI/GT bumper wrongly advertised as a Jetta one for £80.

My advice is stay genuine.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Also, if you had a genuine bumper before I assume you have GTI/GT/Jetta foglights? These won't fit the Xparts bumper.

When I put GT grilles in I got some GT fogs and swapped the glass over to my standard fogs.

At the risk of being hypocritical i just found this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251042443990#ht_761wt_932

Reasonable price and its complete with good feedbacks

Hmmm!

Like I say, I've had both Xparts and genuine and would definitely recommend the latter.
As I have got genuine grilles all round the Xparts one was not much of a saving, if at all. It just never lined up to the arches properly, even with adjustment and I won't be the only one to say this if you search forums.

eBay is best to look, you will have a good chance of finding a painted one although it may take a few weeks of searching. Beware slightly different Jetta/Golf Estate bumpers being touted as GTI/GT ones.

Very true skard.

Tell tail sign is the fog grilles on jetta bumpers have the extra extensions on the top that are chromed.

If grilles arent included look for the recess marks on the bumper and you'll see what I mean!
